Synology <> Netbird // Active Backup M365 Failure

Hello everyone, I am using Netbird (cloud version) with my Synology NAS. When Netbird is running, Active Backup for M365 is unable to resolve the IP address. I have attempted to manually configure the DNS settings in NAS and added nameservers in Netbird, but neither solution has resolved the issue. However, when I disable Netbird, Active Backup functions properly.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this?

Same problem here : when netbird is running on syno, you can’t use active backup 365 / cloud sync tools.

I even defined specific nameservers for those peers but no luck (1.1.1.1 / all domains) by putting syno peers in a specific group.

Hi again, as a workaround I did the following :

0/ we assume that netbird is working and you have a sync problem with Active Backup M365 / CloudSync while service is running.

1/ defined a specific schedule for ABM365, let’s say 20.00 everyday.

2/ created a scheduled task to stop netbird at 19.55 everyday (cf. screenshot below).

3/ created a scheduled task to start netbird at 20:25 everyday (cf. screenshot below).

4/ specify a scheduled downtime in your monitoring tool to ignore alerts.

5/ Enjoy !

It feels like a bug, I hope this will be fixed in a near future.
