Support for non wildcard domains in the new reverse proxy

I enjoy the new reverse proxy feature, but i quickly find that everything is limited to wildcard domains, like *[.]proxy[.]example[.]com, if i try to add custom domains, netbird asks me to configure *. wildcards that ofcourse breaks all other apps under that domain.

Exposing internal apps should keep their normal domain name, if my internal app is myapp[.]example[.]com and i like to expose it to the internet, it should stay myapps[.]example[.]com and not myapps[.]proxy[.]example[.]com.

This should be possible, set the specific hostname and let the admin set the dns cname poiting to the proxy, thats how Azure Application Proxy works.

“netbird asks me to configure *. wildcards that ofcourse breaks all other apps under that domain.”

How would that break other apps under the domain? * only overrides in case there is no record of a domain where you’d be tryuing to go.

Hey, you are right. Just tested it.

I am doing dns management for ages, but wildcard was always something that i never needed. So my thought was in overrides every request.

Thanks for your help
