I am using the pfsense package. My pfsense has local DNS Resolver installed.
For netbird clients to see the Netbird DNS to point to the local pfsense DNS, it seems you have to use routes rather than the networks/ resources. (at least that is the only way I could get local dns working).
I connected the client via a mobile phone hotspot.
I observed in the pfsense package capture on the netbird interface, there is only DNS traffic. no ICMP or other traffic to anything in my pfsense local network. (although the traffic successfully reaches everything).
Also the firewall logs don’t show any ICMP traffic on the netbird interface.
Before i raise as an issue on github, i just wanted to confirm as it not something I am doing wrong.
