Multi Tenant Question regarding users with the same email domain

Describe the problem
I have used the quickstart guide to install an operational installation with Zitadel IDP. Post installation I added the --disable-single-account-mode option to docker-compose.yml.
I have restarted docker and now single account mode is disabled.

I assumed that new users with the same domain would all fall into the same management control center.

What I am finding is every user is in a different management control center.

Is this the expected behavior? Is it possible for all users with the same domain in their email address to automatically join the same management control center?

Expected behavior

All users with the same domain would join the same Control Plane.

Hey Jack, welcome to the NB forum! “Single Account Mode” is meant for “You have 1 account (company) that uses the NB instance”.

For example, you have 4 users in “example.com” and 3 guests with “example.nl”. If you have single account mode enabled, it will put all of them in the same “company”.

Now, in the docs there is a specific line regarding the flag you used:

NetBird Management service runs in a single account mode by default since version v0.10.1. Management service was creating a separate account for each registered user before v0.10.1. Single account mode ensures that all the users signing up for your self-hosted installation will join the same account/network. In most cases, this is the desired behavior.

Inviting people to a specific network looks to be a cloud specific feature, and not needed in most use cases when everyone uses the same company.
