What device are you using? Is it CONSTANTLY connected to NetBird? Have you tried running without netbird running in the background?

This might reduce battery usage since it will only connect to other peers when there is traffic and when the connection becomes idle it will disconnect again.
I have NeBird as a continuously active VPN.
I have immich, searXNG and Adguard running on my homelab that I use on my mobile device.
Can’t turn of running in background, it gets activated again.
Tailscale was not using that much battery.
Lazy Connection is already enabled under Settings → Clients → Enable Lazy Connections
