Can I switch from a connection mode with exit node to a connection mode without exit node and back?

I would like to implement the following:

Mode 1: All traffic goes through tunnel to coprorate network and via exit node to internet. Exit node is located at corporate headquarter.
Mode 2: Split tunnel. Traffic to corporate network through Netbird tunnel, but internet access directly from Netbird client location without going throughh the tunnel.

I would like the user being able to choose between

  • Mode 1: safeguard all his traffic when in a hotel, thus encrypting all traffic through the Netbird tunnel
  • Mode 2: directly access teh Internet from his location, but accessing corporate network through Netbird

Is there an easy way to do that?

I have seen the “Profiles” in the Windows client. But it seems this is mostly to change between Netbird instances.

Is it possible at all?
Can the mode be changed via GUI on client side?
Can the mode be changed via CLI on client side?

Have you tried the “Deselect All” option in the list of “Exit nodes” in the GUI client?
