I have a TV that I can control with an app, this only works,
when I disconnect the android-phone from the Birdnet.
In Tailscale I have a App split tunneling to let selected apps
access the internet directly, without using Tailscale.
Would be nice to have such a feature in Netbird.
My internet provider offers IPTV. Their app is called FreeTV (over android tv), and it forces the use of a specific IP. However, I’d like to route all traffic to an exit node on a different public IP. I have to turn the VPN on and off every single time… This feature would be super handy!
While NetBird doesn’t have this feature at the moment. You can try and use JetBird. As this does have “include/exclose apps from tunnel”. (aka, split tunneling).
The feature is in our short-term roadmap.
