As users travel around from network to network, many orgs use the same private ip address space. If we use a network range posture check, Netbird does not get activated in those locations with overlapping address space
Describe the solution you’d like
Implement a Posture Check that allows the client for a userdefined dns record which could be setup on local dns servers so that when it does resolve the client would not connect. This takes the overlapping ip range issue out of the mix
Describe alternatives you’ve considered
The only other option I have considered is creating a helper application that runs only when a script can be run from a local network location but that is a messy complicated overhead that I would like to avoid
