Accessing a peer's network that is behind a firewall

how can i accomplish accessing a peer’s network that is behind a firewall? the peer is just a linux devbox and no ports are opened. i checked the docs for network / network routers but i can’t seem to get anything working. the peer’s netbird client is running in userspace (netstack) mode (i don’t have root access). there aren’t any issues otherwise as i can access other peers via the socks5 proxy it exposes, and netbird status looks fine also. just really stumped on how to setup this.
